Tim Trzepacz performs original new-wave style music as Timon Marmex using original Nintendo DSi software called Rhythm Core Alpha 2 that he wrote himself.
He used to work on some videogames, like Ratchet & Clank and Silent Hill, and Working Designs famous RPG localizations, all the way back to Pirates Gold on the Sega Genesis for MicroProse..
He went indie and released a music creation system for Nintendo DSi and 3DS portable game systems called Rhythm Core Alpha. (http://www.rhythmcorealpha.com) Please download it from the eShop.
He is now working on a music synthesizer called the Nanoegg. He was awarded a residency in the Supplyframe Design Lab on the strength of that project.
Tim is very active in the Los Angeles and Orange County hackerspace scene. He started the now-defunct maker group DIG at LASFS, and was co-founder of “Make Room! Make Room!” at the LOSCON Science Fiction convention. He is a regular at 23b Shop, Null Space Labs, and MAGlab, but tries to help cross-polinate between all spaces in the LA hackerspace scene.
Tim is running our chiptune stage and performing on Saturday night.
